INTERNATIONAL HONEY SUNDAY AND WONDERFUL FEAST CONFERENCE

The International Honey Sunday and Wonderful Feast Conference (IHSWFC) is a divine conference of relationship between God Almighty and His church. The revelation for the conference was given in 1972 by the Lord to Apostle Dr. Samuel Oluwatayo Omotunde that an anniversary should be started which should be known and called “Honey Sunday and Wonderful Feast”. The name of the anniversary has generated controversies several time, in fact, the name looks strange to many.

The truth is that, that name was divine. It generated lot of worries in the mind of elders of mount wonders and especially Late Dr. Apostle Samuel 0. Omotunde until curiosity to know more about the early days of Late Apostle Emmanuel Omoniyi Omotunde his father, led him to interview some elders who witness the emergence and manifestation of the power of God on this prophet in the 30 ‘s. Among those interviewed was late Elder Gabriel Olowookere.

It was Elder Olowookere’s interview that revealed that the Pentecostal entry to Oke-Ajalu now Oke-Ajaye happened on 9th July, 1939 in obedience to God’s instruction to prophet Omoniyi Omotunde after the outpour of the Holy Spirit on him and the kick-off of a new ministry started in llesha. 

The first Honey Sunday was celebrated on 9th July, 1972 precisely 33 Years, after the man of God moved together with the congregation from llesha through Aramoko the first Sunday in Ajalu now Ajaye was celebrated. This was how the Mount Wonders Elders came to know that Honey Sunday is in remembrance of the call into prophetic Ministry of the founder of The African Apostolic Church Worldwide, Apostle Emmanuel Omoniyi Omotunde, or the First Sunday celebrated at Oke Ajaye after the outpour of the Holy Spirit on Emmanuel Omotunde and the beginning of a Ministry called the African Apostolic Church.

God’s Promises for Honey Sunday

  1. Everybody in Mount Wonders Churches will be His Ministers.
  2. Through this Parish, the mission will spread to many countries of the World to preach the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
  3. Many prophets would be raised among the youths throughout the TAAC commission.
  4. The local church would be so blessed that some people would think that they acquire money in wrongful way.
  5. The conference will be great in future but its strengthen is in the annual Oke-Ajaye Anniversary.
  6. Many parishes will be established through this local church.
  7. Members will be attending this programme with chattered aircrafts from all over the world. 

Divine Regulation Guiding the Honey Sunday and Wonderful Feast Conference

  1. The anniversary must be celebrated annually.
  2. Every member of Mount Wonders affiliated Parishes must attend the conference anywhere they may be on the surface of the earth.
  3. The President of TAAC will come from the Parish in the future and he must not order that the conference be taken to Oke-Ajaye for celebration.
  4. The president of Nigeria will come from this Parish in the future, and he must not order the conference to be taken to (Aso Rock for celebration).
  5. Women should do the cooking while the men provide the funds for cooking.
  6. All men must observe three days fasting and prayer with vigil each day from Wednesday to Friday preceding the conference.
  7. On Saturday, a day before Honey Sunday, Women will meet in the church for special prayer while men from one day old will meet for prayer and use honey and salt during the prayer.
  8. Any Parish of TAAC established through the local church must always participate in this annual event as long as they want to stand.
  9. All the participants at the Honey Sunday conference must eat the wonderful feast and lick salt and honey before leaving the service.
  10. Annual observance of the seven Holy Communion, which serves as a link between the Oke-Ajaye anniversary and the Honey Sunday conference.
