Revd. Samson Tovishede is the Pastor in charge of Youth Ministry of The African Apostolic Church (TAAC), Mount-Wonders and currently the Secretary of TAAC, Lagos Region. The Lord has used him to raise youths of substance who remain vibrant in expanding the Kingdom of God and pulling down the kingdom of darkness. Fondly called Sam-Tovis by friends and colleagues, Revd. Samson was born into a Christian home and being a Pastor’s Kid (PK), he learnt about Godly virtues very early in life. Nonetheless, he had a personal encounter with Jesus Christ at the assembly ground of his secondary School in April 1997, where he was led to the Lord. For over 25 years now, he has remained fervent as he takes his Cross, following the Master daily. He has been Pastoring at Mount Wonders since 2017.
His foray into Pastoral Ministry was in the similitude of Prophet Samuel in the scriptures, where he was given to God for the course of the ministry. As a young Christian brother, he served in different capacity in the church in a bid to avoid being ordained as a minister but only found peace with the Lord after he became a Pastor, following his graduation from the African Apostolic Theological Seminary in 2017 with Diploma in Theology. Ministers within TAAC and beyond as well as other Children of God have borne witnesses to his calling and anointing.
Apart from the youth ministry, Revd. Samson has special calling for the Marital destiny of the Singles and Married and has been tremendously helped by the Holy Spirit to Minister well-being to troubled souls. He hosts the annual Singles Summit, a programme specially packaged to prepare singles for a Purpose driven Marriage. Also, his Word-rooted Teachings and admonitions, with practical application of the Word of God in solving turbulent issues in the home front, earned him the opportunity of being at the Centre of couple’s programme in the Church.
Revd. Samson is an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) and a Public manager and also an alumnus of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) where he bagged B.Sc. (Hons) in Accounting. He also has an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) qualification in Mechanical Engineering from the prestigious Yaba college of Technology. Revd. Samson presently works with the Ogun State Treasury Office, Oke-Imosan, Abeokuta. He is married to Mrs. Temitope Tovishede, and the union is blessed with Christian and Christopher.
